MM ~ Smooth (Santana feat. Rob Thomas)

Rob Thomas originally  wrote and recorded this song as demo for Santana, thinking that George Michael would eventually sing it. But after hearing Thomas sing his song, Santana decided to have him record the final version.

"Smooth" went on to become a massive hit in 1999.

Music Monday ~ Xanadu (Olivia Newton John)

Life is all about the magic that surrounds us. Open your eyes and enjoy every single second that you're breathing. That in itself is magic.

Here's a feel good song in the 80's which was the theme song of a romance/musical movie of the same title. I hope they consider a remake of the movie "Xanadu". I love all the songs there. Olivia Newton John at her best!!!

Music Monday ~ Radio Ga Ga (Queen)

Long before Lady Gaga entered the music scene, we had Radio Ga Ga, a 1984 song performed by Queen. This was one of the rock songs in my generation that was well loved not only by rockers but by disco-going people as well.

Rockin' on the dance floor !!!
