Rob Thomas originally wrote and recorded this song as demo for Santana, thinking that George Michael would eventually sing it. But after hearing Thomas sing his song, Santana decided to have him record the final version.

Rob Thomas definitely had the right voice for this song although I'm sure it would have been a great song with George Michael on vocals. Santana really makes the song with his virtuoso guitar playing.. so smooth. Happy Music Monday !
